With sincere apologies for the lateness of this meeting notification… we are happy to be welcoming Tina Norman-Ross, Guernsey’s Recycling Officer, to talk about WEEE ! (That’s “Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment”!)
It doesn’t matter if you’re into electronics or not — this is waste stream of modern living that affects us all. Come along to hear how Guernsey handles this waste and discuss what we all can do to Reduce, Reuse & Recycle!
There’ll be our usual ‘Shout Out’ for you to share what you’ve been working on and ask for any help you may need. Plus, our ‘Break Out’ where you can chat to anyone about anything of interest and maybe fiddle with things that have been brought along.
We look forward to meeting you tonight. Under 18s are welcome but must be accompanied by and adult. It’s FREE. Kick off at 7:30pm. Upstairs at The Albion, next to the Town Church.
I’ll be speaking to Jenny Kendall-Tobias on BBC Radio Guernsey at around 10:10am this morning.
When I’ve previously been on air with JKT things have gotten a bit silly – so tune in if you dare!
UPDATE: No JKT. Murray Norton instead. Thanks Murray. Get well soon Jenny!
To listen again click here and whizz forward to about 38minutes – after the song “That’s the way (uh huh, uh huh) I like it.”
